Scope
Provider complaints about service and assessment conduct, formal appeals against course decisions, whistleblowing about misuse of CPD Global claims, and reports of inaccuracy.
Proposed response targets
Acknowledgement within 5 working days of written receipt.
Initial substantive response normally within 20 working days, with reasons and a new date if an extension is needed.
Appeal requests within 20 working days of outcome notification.
Appeal review by a person not involved in the original decision, with a reasoned response normally within 20 working days.
Method
Each case is logged with an ID, date, evidence and privacy classification; checked for immediate safeguarding, correction or suspension needs; assigned to someone not responsible for the contested work after a conflict check; and answered with an evidence-based written decision and reasons.
Suspension, withdrawal and reinstatement
Where a material safety, content, transparency, data-integrity or misleading-mark concern exists, an authorised manager may suspend status pending investigation, documenting grounds, an opportunity to respond and appeal rights. Public verification records are updated accurately; past evidence is not silently erased.
Protection and data
Complaints are handled confidentially and lawfully, with proportional retention, no retaliation and restricted access. Anonymity cannot be guaranteed where legal duties prevent it.
